GCA Commemorates Its 24th Founding Anniversary With An Online Community

Great Christian Academy (GCA) is celebrating the 24th anniversary of its founding this year. The institution has been providing the best holistic and innovative learning approaches in the country with the help of its teachers and parents since 1997. As a way to commemorate this significant event and unite the community in the middle of a pandemic, students from all levels prepared special presentations signifying their gratitude.

Students from Nursery, Kindergarten, and Grades 1, 2, 5, and 10 prepared special song and dance numbers for the entire GCA community. They’ve helped us celebrate and reflect through their voices and body movements, reminding us that we should be thankful for the talents and skills God has given us. 

Students from Grades 8 and 9, meanwhile, inspired the GCA community with their creative video presentations. Grade 8 students prepared a photo and video slideshow to the tune of Count On Me, a popular song about friendship released by Bruno Mars, and took us down memory lane with their throwback photos. Grade 9 students set the bar high and prepared a video presentation telling a story through sketches. Talented students from the same level accompanied the storytelling with a worship song. 

These wonderful online presentations wouldn’t be the last of their kind as GCA aims to bring the institution to greater heights and welcome more students from all walks of life. Throughout the years, GCA has continually developed programs and approaches to meet the needs of its parents, teachers, and students, and be on a par with its neighboring academies. So, with courage and determination, GCA will face another year of challenges and opportunities.
